  • Jubilee video, Sunday services and events (June 5th)

    Dear all,

I hope you’re enjoying the long Jubilee weekend and celebrations both near and far!  We’ve made a Jubilee thanksgiving video with plenty of well-known hymns that can be watched here – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mij5j9ETCDw (link to external website).

This Sunday’s services (5th) begin with Pentecost Communion at 9.30am, with another chance to see Claxton’s beautiful ‘Flowers for the Queen’ displays.  Surlingham’s ‘Royal Premieres’ Flower Festival is proving to be ‘big box office’ itself, with refreshments served from 10am-4pm, and ending with Jubilee songs of Praise at 4.30pm.

Don’t be deterred by the weather forecast from coming to Carleton St. Peter, where the church has been decorated for the Jubilee and refreshments will be served inside straight after the 2pm Jubilee Songs of Praise!  Rockland St. Mary’s Jubilee Tea will take place in the Parish Room and at Black Dyke between 2 and 5pm.

    God save The Queen,

    Nick
