We had the Speed Monitor for the whole of 2023.  This month is the start of our regular rotation in Claxton so we will keep the device till at least the end of March.  Whether it stays longer depends on Langley with Hardley Parish Council finding and training a volunteer to manage it during their regular 3-month rotations.

In December the Monitor was on The Warren facing south towards Loddon.  The table below covers the whole month.

What does it show?  A massive improvement on every other month in 2023.  Only 17 cars going through over 35MPH and nothing over 40MPH.  OK, it was Christmas and school holidays with the consequent reduction in traffic numbers, but this is still something to be pleased about.

Here’s the challenge.  To keep it going into 2024.  Let’s see what January brings.
