The shared SAM2 speed monitor is still in Claxton!  Langley with Hardley Parish Council have still not found a volunteer to run the SAM2 so it stays with us for the time being.  It was not even mentioned in their September meeting so may have slipped right off their radar.

The table below covers the whole month of September.

What does it show?  A very similar picture to August.  More vehicles coming through and half as many again driving in excess of 35MPH.  On Monday 4 September at 2335, when most of us would have been in bed asleep, one vehicle came through at over 55MPH.  Really?

Once again there is no pattern.  However we hope that the activities of the Community Speed Watch and local law enforcement might at least register to these drivers our commitment to keep people safe in our village.
