Local Elections in 2023 – all you need to know

On Thursday 4 May the Village Hall will become a Polling Station so that those of you who are registered to vote can elect a new District Councillor and up to 5 new Parish Councillors.  This is your opportunity to make known your views about the way the village and District are run.

PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THAT ELECTORS ATTENDING THE POLLING STATION NEED TO BRING PHOTO ID WITH THEM, OR THEY WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO CAST THEIR VOTES.

It is also an opportunity for any of you who are unhappy with the way the village is being run to make a difference, by throwing your hat into the ring and running for office and becoming a Parish Councillor yourself.  THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO MAKE A DIFERENCE.

The three links below contain details of the Elections to the Ditsrict and the Parish Council, together with an extensive briefing by South Norfolk Council last month on how it all works.
