Services and events this week (Mar 12th-19th)

Dear All,

I hope you’re keeping well and warm!
This Sunday (Mar 12th) our services are Communion at Surlingham, 9.30am and at Carleton St. Peter at 11am.  At 4pm Still at the Barn is gathering for a Lent reflection ‘Still in the Wilderness’.  Please see the attached flyer for more information – still wilderness.
Warm Welcome at the Barn is open again on Monday (13th) from 11am to 4pm, for refreshments, lunches, cakes and good company.  Any donations will go to the Diocesan Lent Appeal for the Priscilla Bacon Hospice.
Celtic Prayer meets in Surlingham Church porch at 10am on Tuesday (14th).
On Wednesday (15th) Art Cafe in the Barn opens its doors between 10.30am-12 Noon, for fresh coffee, cakes and some art!  All welcome.
The Group Lent Course (16th) on ‘How to eat bread’ meets in the Barn and online at 7.30pm.  If you’d like to meet up for the simple meal beforehand, this begins at 7pm.
Looking ahead to Mothering Sunday (Mar 19th) we give thanks at our Mothering Sunday services at Bramerton (9.30am), Rockland St. Mary (11am) and Surlingham (11am).  11am Mattins at Kirby Bedon continues to follow the Lent theme in hymns and readings.
Best wishes,
Nick
