Eleven Says, Services and Events this week (Jan 25th-Feb 5th)

Dear All,

I hope you’re keeping well.

Eleven Says has been published and we’re gathering at 9am Saturday morning in Bergh Apton Village Hall to collate and distribute copies. All helping hands welcome!

This Sunday (Jan 29th), we join with our Thurton benefice friends for a 10am Candlemas Communion at Rockland St. Mary, followed by tea and coffee in the Barn.  At 4pm, Helen will lead Still with Snowdrops at the Barn. Snowdrops are sometimes known as Candlemas Bells. They provide our theme for stillness, contemplation, words and music.

Warm Welcome at the Barn is open on Monday (30th) from 11am to 4pm, for refreshments, lunches, cakes and good company.

On Wednesday (Feb 1st) Claxton Community Cafe meets in the Village Hall from 10am-12 Noon. All welcome.

Looking ahead to the following Sunday (Feb 5th) our services are Communion at Claxton, 9.30am and Morning Worship at Carleton St. Peter at 11am.

Best wishes,

Nick
