New Year services and events

Dear All,

As our Christmas celebrations enter the New Year, here’s some news about services and events in the next couple of weeks.  I’ve attached the January services poster for your information.  It can be read by clicking here.
We begin New Year’s Day as a benefice with a shared Communion at Claxton, 10am.
Helen has also filmed a video New Year’s service that you can watch here – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ysT_mrnv8UU&t=592s  and also follow in the attached booklet, clicking here.
Epiphany Eve falls on Thursday (Jan 5th).  We’re celebrating the coming of the Magi at the Barn. 6.30pm Communion is followed by an
Epiphany Party.  It would be helpful to know numbers ahead of the day, and also if you could kindly bring a plate of nibbles!
Sunday Jan 8th is the feast of the Baptism of Christ. We mark the beginning of Jesus’ adult ministry with Communion at Surlingham (9.30am) and Rockland St. Mary (11am), and at 2pm we gather on Bramerton Common to Bless the Waters that flow past our parishes.
Looking further ahead, Warm Welcome at the Barn starts up again on Jan 9th, 11am – 4pm, following its successful first season.  I’m most grateful to our hardworking team of volunteers for making its ministry of welcome, good food and company possible.
The next Eleven Says deadline falls on Jan 10th.
Art Cafe in the Barn re-opens on Jan 11th at 10.30am.
With all good wishes for the New Year,
Nick and Helen
