Today’s events (Dec 18th), video carols, the week ahead and Christmas in Rockland Benefice

Dear all,

This morning (18th) sees Carleton St. Peter’s Carol Service at 11am, with Claxton’s Wassail beginning at 2pm. We’ve also made a video carol service that you can watch here – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i1Q0Jee1g0E

We finish the first season of Warm Welcome at the Barn with our Christmas Lunch on Monday 19th, 10am to 4pm. Come along for good company, delicious homemade soup, posh sandwiches and maybe a carol or two!

On Christmas Eve, Rockland’s Crib Service makes a welcome return at 6pm. You can come dressed as a nativity character, if you wish! Midnight Mass will be celebrated at Rockland at 11.30pm.

Christmas Day sees Family Services at 10am in Claxton and Surlingham and Communion at 9.30am in Bramerton and 11am in Kirby Bedon.

Looking further ahead, on New Year’s Day there will be Communion at Claxton for the whole benefice at 10am, as we continue to celebrate Christmas and ask God’s blessing for the year ahead.

If you or someone you know would like communion during the Christmas period but are unable to come to church, please feel free to contact me.

With all good wishes,

Nick
