Dear Parish Council,
I’m getting in touch to let you know of opportunities and events that are coming up in the district. We would be grateful if you could share this information with local residents and community groups in your Town/Parish.
The Queen’s Treasure Trail
For the Queens Platinum Jubilee, South Norfolk Council have created a free treasure trail that takes adventurers across the district to explore different areas and put together puzzle pieces to find the Queens Treasure!
This is a great activity to do as a family over the summer holidays. You can download a free online copy of the trail here.
Until 30th October, we have a wonderful competition available for those that complete the trail with two different prizes up for grabs, including:
- Bressingham – a fun family day out for two adults and three children
- Whitlingham Country Park – day out with the ranger, learning about conservation and getting involved, followed with lunch with an open fire and a guided walk.

EAMA 10K
This year the EAMA 10K is back on Sunday 20 November. This popular race is based in Wymondham, starting and finishing on Ladys Lane. Race Entry can be found here.
This circular route around the picturesque countryside in Wymondham is great for runners of all levels and we encourage anyone and everyone to take part.
Please share this information with any local running/community groups in your area or even local business that might be interested in taking part.
