Road Tax Scam

Below is the text of an e-mail received by your Site Manager purporting to be from the DVLA.  It isn’t.  One simple check to make when receiving such communications is to check the e-mail address it was sent from.  To be genuine this would have had “gov.uk” at the end of the address.  It would also not have been sent by e-mail.

The message reads badly too, with words missing (such as the word “fined” in the bottom line).  That’s not to say that all scammers are foreign without a high degree of literacy in the English language.  Just that this one is.
