Would you like to become part of a team of volunteers contributing towards road safety for all road users in Claxton?

Our SAM2 data has shown a significant number of vehicles regularly travelling through the village at speeds above the legal limit.  To address this we are proposing to set up a Community Speed Watch (CSW) initiative, its aim being to reduce speed in areas of concern, make drivers aware that excessive speed is socially unacceptable, educate drivers about the dangers of speeding and address concerns from local residents about cars speeding through their neighbourhoods.
