The first Quiz during the winter took place at the Village Hall on Saturday evening, 22 February.  62 enthusiastic quizzers turned out to enjoy a challenging but – hopefully – enjoyable Quiz.  This could be set to be a feature of the calendar going forward.

Thanks go to the ladies who prepared, served and cleared the delicious food, the bar staff who looked after more liquid needs and the Quizmaster and Assistant who delivered the quiz.  After around 3 hours of head scratching, one of the village’s own teams, The Bookworms, ran out fairly comfortable winners, having gained a huge head start by using their Joker to great effect in Round 1.  The scoreboard is below.  Well done everyone, and we hope to see you back in the summer.  Details will follow nearer the time.
