    Norfolk and Waveney Sustainability Partnership are encouraging members of the public to make the best/most appropriate choices when looking after their own health this winter.  The national NHS and social campaign is called “Help Us To Help You”.  More details can be found on the poster below.

  • Garden Waste collection day may be changing

    South Norfolk Council will be writing to all their Garden Waste customers to let them know their collection day may be changing.

    The garden waste service has become very popular and now has 25,000 customers which means the routes need to be redesigned.

    The collection days for black and green bins will not be changing.

  • The Armistice Centenary in Claxton

    The Parish Council, with support from the Claxton Pits Trust, will be holding an event on the evening of Sunday 11 November 2018 to mark 100 years since the last shots were fired in the Great War (1914-18).  The flyer below gives details of the event.  If you are a resident of Claxton and would like to attend the supper and bonfire lighting that evening, please let Mary Button or Pat Clare know.  Their telephone numbers are below.
