Agenda for Parish Council meeting on Wednesday 13 September

1. To consider apologies for absence.
2. To receive disclosures of personal and prejudicial interest in matters to be considered at the meeting.
3. To resolve that the minutes of the Parish Council meeting on 12 July 2017 be signed as a correct record.
4. To adjourn the meeting to allow public participation, including Parishioners’ Questions, District and County Councillor reports.
5. To discuss the suggestion of acquiring a Defibrillator for the village, and to agree a course of action.
6. To note the resignation of the current Parish Clerk and to agree a succession plan.
7. To note the end of the current Satellite Broadband contract and agree proposals for its extension.
8. To note new changes to the 85 and 85A bus timetables from 18 September, and to agree appropriate action, if any.
9. To discuss the issue of speeding around Claxton Corner, and consider next steps.
10. To discuss the letter from Saffron Housing Trust asking if there is a need for more affordable housing in Claxton, and consider a reply.
11. To comment on planning matters, including any recent applications.
