There are still some small transactions to factor in but we can confirm that – as anyone passing Claxton Manor can see (below) – we have raised in excess of £5,500 for our charities this year. Everyone directly involved in organising the Fair can take a lot of pride in this outcome. The significant planning and actual work it took to stage this year’s Fair cannot be understated but of course none of it would be possible without the 1,023 of you, the Public, who chose to come to our Fair on 4 June. So we would like to thank you all for your support and hope you enjoyed the day as much as we did. The exact distribution of this amount to our 4 designated charities will be decided next week, but we thought you would want to know how well we all did. Well done again.
This site was created by the Parish Council to help us to connect better with the people living and working in our village, as well as those visiting or passing through.
We try to ensure that anything of interest to the village and its residents is covered here. You can leave a response or a question on most pages.
