    The Transparency Code for smaller Councils was introduced by central government in 2015 to ensure that all Councils with an annual turnover of up to £25,000 make public a raft of information about their financial dealings and governance.  Claxton Parish Council published its first return in September 2015.  This is the second and comes shortly after the close of financial year 2015-16.   • Parish Council End of Year Financial Statement, 2015-16

    The statement below sets out the Parish Council’s financial activity for the year which ended on 31 March 2016.  The figures have been sent to the Parish Councillors but are still to be audited formally, which should happen within the next two months.
