The ever popular Eastern Rivers Community Gym at Loddon is excited to announce that from 7 September 2015 there will be further hours added to its current sessions to allow more opportunity for local people to take part in exercise, particularly those who wish to take part on an evening.
The new hours will be: Mondays between 1:30 and 6:00pm; Tuesdays from 4:30 until 9:30pm; and Fridays from 10:00am to 1:00pm.
“These extra hours will allow us to extend our current exercise programme to suit a wider range of users including health referrals from local medical practices, parents of school-age children, and those who prefer to come to a Gym in the evening after work or other responsibilities” says Committee Chairman, Dennis Passingham.
The not-for-profit Community Gym, which has now been running for 16 months, is fully equipped and operates out of the Jubilee Hall, George Lane, Loddon, serving local people from not just the town but also many local villages. With no membership or joining fees, the Gym is an affordable and fun way to improve health and fitness. The Gym prides itself on its relaxed and friendly atmosphere and, under the guidance of fully qualified Fitness Instructor Louise, allows a member to work at their own pace in order to achieve their personal goals.
People wishing to try out the Gym for the first time can come to a free taster session by calling 07534 946143. Further information can be viewed on the Gym’s Website www.loddoncommunitygym.com.
