In September 2012 South Norfolk Council launched their Your Handyperson Scheme to assist the vulnerable or elderly residents in carrying out small repairs/jobs within the home or garden for free or at heavily discounted prices. Information including contacts is in the poster below.

This site was created by the Parish Council to help communicate better with those who live and work in Claxton, as well as those visiting or passing through.

We try to ensure that anything of interest to the village and its residents is covered here. You can leave a response or a question on most pages.

Dates for Diaries

Spring Fling and Bake Off on Sunday 28 April at the Village Hall, 2-4pm. All welcome.

Community Cafe on Wednesday 1 May at the Village Hall, 1000-1200. All welcome.

Annual Parish Meeting on Tuesday 21 May at 7.30pm at the Village Hall. All welcome. Followed by the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council.
